Mystere

This 143-foot performance sloop from designer Bill Tripp is built in aluminum, but the pilothouse superstructure is lightweight composite to help minimize weight. Designed as a world cruiser, the yacht has several performance-enhancing characteristics. For example, Tripp has drawn a long, 138-foot waterline to allow volume to be put in the ends rather than widening the beam. The lifting keel can retract to reduce draft to just over 12 feet as needed for harbor access.

Dick Young has designed the interior spaces, which include a luxurious owner’s cabin and three guest staterooms. The owner's cabin will have its own private cockpit aft. There will also be accommodations forward for a crew of six. Delivery to the owner is expected to take place a year from now.
