World’s most-expensive sailboat hits brokerage market
By David Schmidt

If you’re like me, your ability to fantasize about owning and skippering a globe-girdling yacht far out paces your ability to finance said endeavor. Still, it’s fun to dream, so when I saw some recent mention on the daily email newsletter Scuttlebutt that Tom Perkins’s mega yacht, the 290-foot Dyna Rigged Maltese Falcon, is for sale, I couldn’t resist listing the Flacon’s asking price, a paltry sum of a mere 115,000,000 Euros (roughly $180,000,000 USD). Any interested skipper (only real buyers need inquire) should contact Bruce Tait and Associates at www.taityachts.com Or check in at the Maltese Falcon web site and dream.
