Annapolis-based multihull builders Performance Cruising celebrated a special occasion last month—they launched hull number 1,000 of the popular Gemini catamaran. Hull #1 was launched 26 years ago. The boat has undergone several revamps over the years but remains true to company founder Tony Smith's original vision—providing an affordable, comfortable catamaran that also has good performance.
